MUSEUM OF BRITISH ROAD TRANSPORT

The Museum portrays the outstanding role played by Coventry in the development of the world's road transport industries through its collections of 250 motor vehicles,250 cycles,90 motorcycles & its vast archives.The Museum is 'designated' as a collection of national importance & provides a highly inter-active & exciting visitor destination for all ages and tastes & is located adjacent to the world famous Coventry Cathedral in Coventry City Centre.
All of the famous Coventry marques are well represented,including Jaguar,Triumph,Daimler,Riley,Alvis,Armstrong Siddeley,Standard,Hillman,Humber etc - with over 130 vehicle manufacturers,300 cycle manufacturers & 90 motorcycle manufacturers having made their 'home' in the City ,there is an awful lot to choose from!
A visit to Coventry is a must for all of those interested in the social,technological & historical role that the road transporet industries have played in the world's development over the last century.
The Museum also offers an extensive educational service,an archive & information service,a shop,catering,conference & meeting facilities in its 100,000 squre feet of accommodation.
