Nestled on 2.5 acres of Forest Park, this museum consists of seven log homes dating back to the mid 1800's. The 19th century comes to life throuh the authentic pioneer homes and artifacts,a blacksmith shop, an 1870s one-room school house, a water powered gristmill, an 1860s smokehouse, and an herb garden. Visitors will see live demonstrations such as candlemaking, spinning, and weaving and more. All the log structures are furnished with nineteenth century objects. History and hands-on programs are offered.
