HONEYWOOD HERITAGE CENTRE
On the banks of the picturesque Carshalton town ponds, Honeywood is a fine late Victorian and Edwardian house which incorporates part of a 17th century building. The recently restored interior contains a wealth of period detail including a magnificent Edwardian billiards room.
The displays tell the story of the people of the London Borough of Sutton from the days of early settlement to the present, including displays on the Tudors, the mills and country houses of the river Wandle, and Edwardian toys.
There is a changing programme of events and exhibitions throughout the year, including Craft Fairs, Lavender & Herb Days, Art Exhibitions and Children's holiday activities.
