Since 1996, the role of the Museum of Human Disease has been expanded to include the education of senior high school biology students and community interest groups (of 10 or more people), with an emphasis on the prevention of common diseases. Visitors are given a supervised two hour multimedia program, including a tour of the Museum and exhibitions, video presentation, microscopic examples of disease and an introduction to the School's computer assisted learning facilities and special exhibitions.
