The African Fon-collection and paintings from the artist Robert Terwindt.

From 28th of March till the 14th of Mai

The expressive artist Robert Terwindt (1940) has collected during a period
of almost 40 years an extensive collection of African art. Mostly wooden
statues, terracotta objects and iron objects from Western-Africa. For him
it's all about the beauty of and the inner happyness those object give.

Unlike many other artists where the influence of African art is obviouse,
Robert Terwindt has a clear distinction between his work as an artist and
his collection. Only a few paintings give away the influence of an African
mask or statue.
