Latest from the Museum December 2007

It has been a long time since our last update. The situation has not changed too much in respect of re-housing the museum. Our possible occupation of an area in the cycle hire building fell by the wayside as the tennant had to revise his plans and needed to retain use of that part of the facility which we were hoping to occupy.
However we are at present exploring the possibility of use of part of another building on the waterside in the old station complex, this could take a while to resolve as it depends on many factors.
The good news is that the Trustees of our present accommodation at the Padstow Institute have granted us a further 12 months occupancy until Dec 2008.
As trustees of the museum we are doing all we can to ensure the future of Padstow's unique museum.
The museum is now closed for the winter and the volunteers are busy with documentation of our 2500 plus artifacts.
