I DENTISTRY PANAMERICAN UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE IN BUENOS AIRES –
FROM 04 TO 10/05/1952
Having accepted invitation made by Mr. President Dr. Guilhermo Bizzoreno to the National Dentistry School of the Universidade do Brasil, the following group, guided by Professor Dr. Ermiro Estevam de Lima, had been present at the Conferecence a/m :

• Luiz Carlos Vianna
• Luiz Oscar Figueira
• Alberto Silvares
The group was received and sheltered properly. All the members were then guided to their specific departments of the Conference.
All divisions of this Conference were perfectly coordinated, mainly to the special attention given to the congress people, delegates and visitors.
Professor Dr. Ermiro Estevam de Lima, our leader at this Conference, had to accomplish with the most important mission given by Mr. Professor Dr. Carlos Bergara, presently the teacher at “Maxilo-Facial” Surgery : to perform a surgery, on a special session, over a pansinusitis case.
We must also mention the high importance of the Congress with regards to the program and university curriculae uniformization all over the Américas. There was a perfect integration among the Congress people towards this particular idea, guided mainly by Mr. Prof. Guihermo A. Bizzozero.
As usual, the conference was closed by the Republic President with an off-hand speech.
We hereby want to acknowledge our congratulations to the I Dentistry Panamerican University Conference direction.
The Congress took place at the Dentistry School in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and as the Counselling President Mr. Prof. Dr. Guilhermo Bizzozero.
There were 3 official subjects :
1. Teaching, with all the questions about the teaching carreer, study plans, research, plants, technical terminology;
2. Prophylactic Dentistry;
3. Partial removable prosthesis, a forever mentioned problem.
