J. Gilbert Smith House
This turn-of-the-century, shingled farm house was built in 1905 with many Craftsman-style features. To replicate the lifestyle of a farmhouse in the 1930s it is preserved in authentic 1930's historical detail. Depression-era fashions, period furnishings and favorite toys will stir memories of a childhood or grandparent's home. Children will gain a new perspective and appreciation for present day conveniences. The House is located on one of the last active apricot orchards in the Santa Clara Valley and was designated a California State Point of Historical Interest in 1987.
