Collection of models

The museum's collection of models, which now has more than sixty models of areas and individual buildings, keeps constantly growing. The oldest among them, probably made in 1899 in St. Petersburg, is the model of the Port of Tallinn silo (by architect A. Klevstistinsky and engineer F. Yenakiyev, 1892-93), a gift of the Estonian History Museum. The museum itself has ordered some models for exhibitions, such as Olev Siinmaa's Functionalist villas of Pärnu for the Modern Monuments exhibition (1996).
