Derwent Valley Mills and their Communities
for inscription as World Heritage Site

The mills in an 18 mile stretch of the Derwent Valley in Derbyshire (English Midlands), the cradle of the Industrial Revolution, is now a WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Just published the book The Derwent Valley Mills and their Communities presents the whole of the evidence submitted to UNESCO to justify inscription. The history, the buildings, the communities are all described in detail in this 106 page A4 book, profusely illustrated in mono and full colour.
