|Visitors view the Jellybean Children|
The National Liberty Museum offers many fun activities and exhibits for families. One of the most popular is the sculpture of two life-size children made entirely of jellybeans. Fashioned by artist Sandy Skoglund, who primarily works with food, the sculpture illustrates the concept that, while humans may look different on the outside, inside we're all made of the same materials.
Among other fun family attractions at the Museum are the Shredder of Mean Words (see From Conflict to Resolution to Harmony gallery), and voting machines which allow both adults and children to express their views on national issues.
