Booked parties of adults or children are welcome at any time. There is a short video film to see and then guides will conduct the party, in small groups, round the exhibits and the historically important features of the ’fire-proof’ building. They can accommodate the particular interests of the party, for instance, towards cotton spinning, framework knitting, silk end cotton hose, chevening, nailing, textiles, water-power and so on. Refreshments can be provided as requested. For instance a buffet lunch, afternoon tea or just tea and biscuits. Ask for details when booking.
