The Great Lakes Historical Society has received a copy of a book detailing the Sciacca family history. The book titled "From the Island of Lipari in Italy to Tuncurry, NSW, Australia" was compiled by Betty Sciacca. It tells the story of Phillipo Sciacca who arrived in Australia in 1889. He and he heirs founded a prosperous fishing industry at Forster/Tuncurry, NSW, Australia. His sons founded the Sydney Fish Markets. This is their story.
