Camping in the Golden Gate National Parks

The Golden Gate National Recreation Area offers two hike-in and two walk-in campgrounds located in the Marin Headlands; and one group camp managed by the Presidio Trust. Reservations are required. Fees are subject to change. The park does not have accommodations for recreational vehicles and Federal law prohibits sleeping in vehicles. These sites are not accessible. General Restrictions 1. Camp only in the designated areas. 2. Fireworks and weapons are prohibited. 3. All pets are prohibited, except guide dogs for the disabled. 4. No amplified music is allowed. 5. Quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 6. Maximum stay at all site is three nights per year.
