Canalside Walks and boat trips
Explore London's Canals with LC Museum
The London Canal Museum offers programms of walks and tunnel boat trips, accompanied by a guide from the museum who explains the history of the canal and the features seen. During the summer months there are tunnel boat trips one Sunday per month, through the long Islington Tunnel. Throughout the summer months we offer guided towpath walks to either Camden or the St. Pancras Water Tower, a landmark historic building that was dramatically moved to make way for the Eurostar trains whose route now passes beneath. There are also boat trip opportunities at Halloween with Camden Canals and Narrowboat Association, and occasional other trips. Special walks or boat trips can be arranged for groups.
