SHIP MODEL "The Victory"
Model of "The Victory" in the main museum building

The model of "The Victory" was built by Allan McMaster. The "Victory" was a river boat, referred to as a 'drogher'. She was a wooden, single screw steam ship built on the Wallamba by James Smith around 1900. She was used to transfer supplies from vessels in Cape Hawke Harbour to Failford and Nabiac upstream on the Wallamba River. In return she would bring down the river products of the area for loading and transfer to Sydney.
