c. 1758 barracks and recreated parade ground

The Trenton Barracks was built in 1758 to house British soldiers during the winters of the French and Indian Wars. British, Hessian and American soldiers occupied the building during the Revolutionary War. Now a National Historic Landmark, the building has been a museum since 1902. Features soldiers' quarters, British officers' quarters, gallery exhibits. Family programs throughout the year, great for schools, home schoolers, camp programs. Annually recreates famous 1776 Battle of Trenton.
