The Dreieich-Museum is situated amid the ruins of Castle Hayn, which was built in the late 11th century.
In addition to various temporary exhibitions presented on the ground floor of the building, the museum features a permanent exhibition on the upper floor. This permanant exhibition showcases the place´s history over the course of a millennium from the medieval hunting grounds in the forests to the regional territorial reform, which merged five different towns into the new city of Dreieich.
A great destination for the whole family: The museum features various interactive stations inviting visitors of all ages to participate.
The Dreieich-Museum has been awarded the Museumspreis 2018 and has been the recipient of the "Museum of the Month" award multiple times.

Das Dreieich-Museum liegt inmitten der Ruine der Burg Hayn, die im ausgehenden 11. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde. Die Burganlage ist frei zugänglich. Im ehemaligen Wassergraben der Burg Hayn, direkt hinter dem Museum, lädt ein Spielplatz zum Toben, Picknicken und Verweilen ein.
