A Museum for Dikes, Village, and Bricks!
Museum for Dike Construction on the Rhine, Local History, and Natural Science in the Lower Rhine.
Exhibitions on the themes: Life on the Rhine, Flood History, Dike Construction, Local Brickyards, Village Life in the 19th/20th Century, and Birdlife in the Lower Rhine (including random guests). Additionally, a museum station of the Wesel location of the Lower Germanic Limes (part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Frontiers of the Roman Empire")! Start your "Landscape Experience Roman Times" tour here. Station of the "Liberation Route Europe" with an original section of a Bailey Bridge from 1945.
The hub of the exhibitions is the village of Bislich (now a district of the Hanseatic city of Wesel) and its region.
