Room by Room through the Region
Discover the phenomena of regional nature at the Niebüll Natural History Museum. Experience nature from the bee to the sea eagle. Observe the fish in the freshwater aquariums. Listen to the calls in the nocturnal forest and watch a living bee colony behind glass.
In modern designed exhibition rooms, the nature and landscape on both sides of the German-Danish border are presented. Our experience exhibition provides answers to your questions. Cliffs, marshland & polders, wetlands, heath & moor, forest, settlement, honeybee, and life underwater are the themes that guide you through the rooms. Go on a virtual moor walk with the nature guide or listen to the chirping of grasshoppers. A children´s activity room and an info café invite you to linger.
Get inspiration from us for your next excursion into nature. Experience the natural areas of the region individually or join a guided natural history excursion - both are experiences.
