As a former residence of King Henry I and Emperor Otto the Great, Memleben still possesses great allure today. The museum is located in the grounds of a former Benedictine monastery, established by Otto II after the death of his father, Otto I. In addition to the breathtaking architecture, various exhibitions with interactive stations convey the multi-faceted history of Memleben Monastery. This combination makes a visit to the Kloster und Kaiserpfalz Memleben museum an exciting time travel experience for both children and adults.
