In the model you can see how the northern part of this factory, now the museum depot, was used in 1872 as a foundry. In this miniature representation, the process of casting of armor plates is shown. These objects were the main production of the Gruson foundry. Also notable are the cupolas, in which the metal is melted and then poured into the desired shape.
