Description [EN]

The Badisches Landesmuseum is the large cultural history museum for the Baden region and presents the culture of Baden in dialog with evidence of the cultures of the world with a focus on Europe. Its objects represent 50,000 years of international cultural history: World culture, national history and regional everyday culture are brought together and networked to form a major cultural-historical show.

In addition to its headquarters in Karlsruhe Palace, the Badisches Landesmuseum is affiliated with eight other museums and archives from Bruchsal to Salem on Lake Constance.

A revolutionary concept for the museum's collections was developed in the run-up to the general renovation of Karlsruhe Palace. Instead of an admission ticket, a user pass was issued, which encourages visitors to return to the collection exhibitions.
