The Bavarian Army Museum is one of the largest military history museums in Europe. The collections focus on Bavaria in its European context and span from the late Middle Ages to the present day.


The mission of the Bavarian Army Museum is to use its collections to provide a critical and historically accurate reflection on the military and the use of force in history and its impact on people, society and the state.
The permanent exhibitions can be seen in the New Palace, the Reduit Tilly and the Triva Tower.
