Glasmuseum Achilles-Stiftung

Since its opening in October 2022, the Achilles Foundation Glass Museum has offered contemporary glass art a new home in northern Germany. In the spectacular architectural ambience of the Q21, the listed former Barmbek hospital, you will find the newly created museum´s collection of more than 400 contemporary glass sculptures on approximately 1,000 square meters. Rooms over four meters high and flooded with light provide a worthy setting for the breathtaking works. Regularly changing special exhibitions and vernissages invite you to exchange ideas with artists and engage with their work.
