The Haus der Geschichte in Bonn is a museum run by the Stiftung Haus der Geschichte that focuses on German contemporary history since 1945. Its current permanent exhibition is titled “You are Part of History. Germany since 1945,” which frames historical developments through personal stories, selected objects and interactive access points. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum shows temporary exhibitions; current examples include “AFTER HITLER. The German confrontation with National Socialism” (18 September 2024 – January 2027), the photography and caricature exhibition “Rückblende 2025” (10 March – 19 April 2026) and “SKATERS & BOARD RIDERS before and after German reunification” (December 2024 – spring 2026).
