Discover industrial heritage in Hattingen
Towering 55 metres high and with 80 years under its belt: the oldest blast furnace in the region is located at the Henrichshütte in Hattingen. In its heyday,, 10,000 people worked at the mill near the Ruhr river. Marvel at the relics of the ironworks era, gaze upon enormous gas engines in the historic blower hall and discover the essence of industrial fallows.
