Experience industrial heritage in Bocholt

At the heart of a new cultural quarter between Bocholt town centre and Lake Aa lies the Textilwerk, comprising a weaving mill and a spinning mill. A bridge over the River Aa connects the two museum sites. In the impressive halls of the historic Herding spinning mill, you can gain fascinating insights into historical and modern technology, and experience the history of fashion and contemporary design. In the weaving mill, a world of discovery awaits you, featuring daily demonstration weaving on historic looms and a fully furnished house with a flourishing workers’ garden.
