Originally built as a prince-bishop's residence, Bruchsal Palace now houses the municipal museum. The exhibition transports visitors back in time. It starts some 700,000 years ago with the tusk of a steppe mammoth. Of particular importance are the ceramics from the Michelsberg Culture, which owes its name to the Michaelsberg – a "Michael's Mount" near Untergrombach. But the history of the penal system is also covered at the museum. Discover these and many other fascinating details about the history of Bruchsal!
